Cadence Update – October 2022

Well, in the blink of an eye, we are a month into Spring, the clocks have changed, and Cadence is growing! We have had a very exciting few months and are eager to share some highlights with you. Here is what has been happening at Cadence these past few months:

NSW Regional Business Awards – Regional Finalist

We are very excited to announce that Cadence has been selected as a finalist in the Murray-Riverina Regional Business Awards in the category of Excellence in Micro Business. These awards recognise and celebrate business growth, resilience, entrepreneurship, and success across our region.

There is an awards night on 21 October where the winner of our category will be announced. For more information on these business awards and see the other businesses who have qualified as finalists, check out the following link: https://www.businessnsw.com/members/business-awards/murray-riverina.

New Staff Member

Cadence has recently had a new staff member join the team!

Jill is in a Customer Engagement role and will be helping with projects, support, and documentation. Among plenty of other experience, Jill comes to us with several years of experience in IT and local government. Please join us in welcoming her to Cadence.

Featured Project: LOOV Order Management System

One of Cadence’s big projects has gone live recently! This project was an online order management system for our client, Rollease Acmeda. Along with plenty of other features, the order management system allows customers to login to a secure portal and place highly complex product orders online. To read a full write up about this project, see our ‘Featured Project’ page HERE.

Symphony by Cadence Portals

We have been very busy developing a tool, called Symphony, that can be used to generate cloud-based portals and online databases for our clients. These portals can be set up quickly and are highly customisable. They are a great solution if you find yourself receiving orders via email or spreadsheets, if you have an Excel spreadsheet that is difficult to maintain, or if you want a custom space for staff or customers to login to.

If you’d like more information about our portals, send Cadence an email to hello@cadencesoftware.com.au.

NDC Conference

The Cadence team will be attending the NDC conference in Sydney during the week of October 10th to 14th. This is a software development conference consisting of workshops, presentations, and networking. We are eager to learn some new skills and to hear some of the big names in our industry speak.

Cadence Social Media

Cadence recently launched our social media pages on Facebook and LinkedIn. We make regular posts with information on Cadence services, links to our blog posts, and the occasional light-hearted but somewhat nerdy quote. Click on the icons below to see our pages and then give us a like or follow!
